Too bad. Three significant "American" players got rejected, too:

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles US LLC
Ford Motor Company
Nissan North America, Inc.

So, it's no surprise.

It's interesting that an India and Turkish company are in the final running, but not Ford or Chrysler.

The list looks somewhat political.
