Authorities Energy Regulator (ERE) has made public the decision of the meeting of September 30, 2016 by which it dismissed the appeal of KESH in relation to the request for review of the decision n. 131 of August 15, 2016 the Board of Commissioners "To put an end to the procedure announced by the company KESH" Call for expressions of interest in a framework agreement on electricity storage ", regarded as coming in breach of the term provided for by law.
At about the ERE to KESH remembers having to use electricity efficiently on the basis of the relevant legislation in force - in consultation with the Secretariat of the Energy Community - after the completion scheduled for compulsory law of public service . The above brings to an end one of the most bitter disputes broke out between the various institutions, public company and the authorities regulate energy, SO-CALLED "the deposit agreement between KESH - EFT."
In this regard the day of August 15, 2016, the association of merchants and suppliers (EYES) along with some traders companies such as GEN-I and Axpo had brought a complaint all'ERE. All this means storage for a) the 48-hour period time required to organize a race in emergencies, b) when there is too much water but not required to sell, c) it gives / offers a price inappropriate merchants ( It bases that is more by the public supplier).
Therefore, the day 27.07.2016 has signed a framework agreement which introduces a new product to the Albanian market. So at this point it must consult as to do with the MEI and the ECS. We do not know about those of ECS, but about the MEI position, came the next day of his explosion (24/09/2016) when the Minister Gjiknuri parliament, says that it was done to avoid the download without water production as historically often happened in the past.
