Your email I assume was in regards to an IVC filter. It is installed in the Venous system just below the renal veins. Installed and managed properly it has saved many lives. It stops blood clots from causing pulmonary emboli. In this with an ASD or PFO the possibility of a stroke.
Not even remotely related to CTSO other than they are both medical devices.
IMO the price drop was just manipulation. I am willing to bet that those that sold are rueing their decision.
All just my opinion of course.
