Good afternoon, all!

Exciting times here in the big news state.
I am well prepared for Hurricane Matthew: water and ice, cash and gas. Have plenty of food, wine and a good book.
Often the storm surge can contaminate the public water so in an abundance of caution I just bot another bottle of wine.
Had a comfort breakfast of chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and apple pie.
All electricals have been charged (cell, computer, led lamp and flashlight).
I've situated myself "out west"- about 20 miles inland from the coast, a good place to be.
The outer band of rain is intermittently teasing and steady, light, warm winds are blowing. Hope it will cool off.
Worse will be 6pm tonight to 6am tomorrow. I should be OK as National Weather Service is projecting the southern end of the cone to be Palm Beach. I'm 50-60 miles south of PB.
Again, I am as prepared as can be.
Won't be back in touch 'til it's over- or in Kansas.
I love this stuff!
