In regards to AR, Pokemon Go makes $2 million a day. That was reported by Gamespot (on their youtube recently). Can't recall exactly where I heard this other tidbit a week or so before that report, but Pokemon Go's transactions went down 79% from that initial craze upon its release and was still way ahead of any sector competition. So 79% down, currently 2 mill a day in transactions. Video games tend to lose their luster and purchase prices drop in relation. AR in practical use reminds me of that movie Minority Report from 2001 starring Tom Cruise, and was more beneficial than a Pokemon Go app. I recall that movie's examples (cars, infrastructure, etc) of AR based on the practical uses you've brought up before, BP. If a phone app game does so well... what the heck, practical uses, gee willikers.
