5 - 10 installs so far. Doesnt matter how great they say they are if no one buys.

The mobile app will never be profitable in its current form. Going against the grain of free apps with upgrades for power users is a fools errand. Whatever advantage they think they have will be cloned by the cloud file apps that actually have the users.

Their other products puts them into a NRE conundrum. They got a million dollars from Gawk. They sent them something and Gawk ended up putting a different solution into place for their encrypted voice product.

Getting non-recurring engineering dollars looks good on paper for a time. If your customer only buys once to evaluate your offering your company ends up with an expiration date. They need to actually become a part of someones solution if they hope to survive. Getting money once from some big players wont give them long term viability.
