Ive had this stock since 2010. It's been down, up and down again. Loved the .25 div, .18 wasn't bad, still happy with the .105. The last time I remember this much downward pressure and short activity, there was a lot of conversation about the dividend and having it cut. When it finally was cut, the near short term result was an increase in the share price. It was interesting to see the reaction as long term investors looked at this as a positive move helping debt and the bottom line. If Q3 beats expectations, the downward slide may stop and hold, if it's a miss then expect to see the pressure to cut the dividend increase. If that happens we will see a more normalized yield and then look for the PPS to start rising again.

I have traded FTR on occasion to effectively increase my overall share count to make up for some of the yield loss in the past. It's not hard to catch a bounce every now and then and with patience buy back a little later. I don't feel this is the bottom yet so I didn't reinvest my dividend just yet. Looking to make a better cost average as the company settles into this growth.

cheers
