It would be nice to see pricing. The lower models (10 to 25 kVA) are the size appropriate for large RVs and travel trailers, or to power ones house during an outage, so it would be marketable to the masses (not just OEMs) . If the price of these are really comparable with a external generator then it could be a product for the masses. But I think I recall seeing a 30kVA was going to be in the $20,000 to $30,000 range, far more expensive than anyone would pay for a generator for their house or RV. But to skip having to lug a generator around, and try to store one would be great...while gas is cheap because your hauling around the extra weight on your vehicle all the time. Although the 10 to 25kVA generators shouldn't add that much weight. I can buy a generator of those ratings for $2,000 to $5000 dollars. I would certainly consider adding it as an option on my spiffy new truck at time of purchase. RVs already have an option of a generator, but it is built into the RV not integrated into the truck so it takes up valuable real estate.
