Yes, 44% is normal. And it's not limited to OTC stocks. It's not limited to companies that need financing. I think the market is dysfunctional to some degree in the sense that people are putting their money in the wrong places. The central banks may be to blame for this. There's too much lazy money out there. JMO.
So now the risk is, if the few companies that want to do something about it, and can do something about it, if they go private for a small premium, then there are even less reasons to be invested in the China space. As for SIAF, it will survive. You need a little (or a lot) of patience. No point in blaming the Board for this.
