Just a thought about Lithium's very near possible, very demanding usage... Set aside the automotive shift to "electric cars". We're forgetting the surging visits to Mars... SpaceX has successfully created re-launchable rockets. If succeeding in colonization, it dawned on me. High powered lithium batteries would be my guess for first sources of energy... like I said, just a thought.
