Like all herbal therapies and cures, mainstream allopathic medicine will always say the claims are bogus because there has never been (nor will there ever be) a double blinded study of it. Conducting these studies is expensive and since nobody can patent the ingredients of the dandelion root there is no money to be made. Because of this, no pharma company will conduct the study. Same is true of cannabis even though ample anecdotal evidence points to that substance being a cancer cure as well.
