Vol so far today 9.9 mil.

Shorts could be covering in the last two days.

If that is so, then the volume should decrease significantly in the next few days.

That also means the buying pressure will decrease with that.

Conversely, the shorts maybe protecting their position by shorting into this buying to keep the share price from rising even more. Unfortunately short vol data is not readily available in near real time.
