I take it you are done with the 'all due respect part'.
I have well educated children, older than you and more educated. Your experiences are not unique. Everyone experiences loss; more if you live long enough.
I was in the Middle East at the age you lost friends there. My Father was shot to hell a couple of years previous while in Vietnam. He almost lost his life in Vietnam. Instead, he was 'just' 60% disabled. He was also shot in the Korean Conflict. We are both Vietnam War era vets.
You are ideological. Ideology comes easier to those with youth and higher education, and, 28 years old is youth to me. Your perspective needs some seasoning. Perhaps that will come with time. Perhaps not. A real work life is seasoning. I hope you have one. My PhD son, who is only 2 years older than you, is very well educated. He still has a drool gland between his ears. His stumbling block IS his extensive education. Genius has it's limitations but ignorance has none. One can be a well educated genius and ignorant at the same time. The two states often walk in the same body and mind. The not so well educated usually have little time for ideology. They are too busy surviving.
Please do not come to this Board and act like the mostly well educated and extensively experienced Grandfathers here have never seen life or death. You are just beginning. You would do better to listen and learn first before attempting to be a precocious keyboard warrior.
Slinging arrows is a special talent of the young. Be careful. Sling enough of those arrows, without seeking wisdom, and some of those arrows will come back later in life; generally sticking you in the ass when you least expect it.
The present political leadership has you exactly where they want you; all strung out like an Iraqi war vet with PTSD. It's a shame what our so-called leaders are doing to this country. It's a plan. An evil plan.
By the way, follow that line of cocaine to Arkansas and the Clinton's. It's a big one. You won't have to search hard.
Become the kind of person that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan groans and says, "OH NO, HE'S AWAKE".
