I have seen the enemy, and they is us as Walt Kelly/Pogo said.
I have a different perspective of the medical industry. I term it as a bureaucracy. Not efficient, sometimes at odds with its mission, but works when you follow the rules. The great part is that the rules are published. If the rules are followed, the industry responds and will lavish benefits.
Let me be more specific. The findings for New Drug Applications are published. All one has to is research via the Internet, to see the findings of the last 5 devices granted FDA approval. A plan on what CTTC needs to do in terms of sample size, number of studies, number of locations, longevity , controls etc. can easily be observed. Unfortunately the research plan that CTTC has communicated to us shareholders does not match what I perceive as FDA requirements. We will not get FDA approval on our research plan, no matter how efficacious it appears. We are not following the rules.
Now, who is crazy? The industry? CTTC ? Both? Us for investing and backing CTTC management?
