Our son thinks 1/2 hour showers are the norm. It's a bad habit picked up from his mom.

Our city charges us for water both ways coming and going. I finally got fed up with him and installed a lever cut off at the water heater. After 5 minutes the water goes cold.

Mind you I don't dare flip that lever with my wife.
