no name calling, I just don't usually go long on stocks that I think will get cut in half. Your point about r/s's is right as far as companies doing r/s's to maintain nasdaq listing. But that's not why TPIV did a r/s. I bought AVXL at .40 pre-split. They attended an investor conference a few months later and were told that they could get much more institutional investment by uplisting, due to they had good P1 alzheimers data results. So they did a 1 for 4 r/s and uplisted and went to over 14 briefly. I think TPIV probably got similar advice.
