Spikes or no spikes.

That is the question.

If you are using IB as a data source, I've heard that they sometimes have data reliability problems. If you are using TOS, well, I refuse to use it.

You used 2-min and 3-min intervals when you could have used 1-min intervals, not that it matters that much, but why would you do that?

My charts that I put here all use 1-min intervals for the sake of higher resolution and uniformity. No unusual spikes on any of these three symbols.

I have still noticed that you do not have volume numbers on your "spike" data above each chart (or within each chart). If I had after-hours spikes in my data I would check to see what is going on because they would be very unusual. I would certainly check volume because that would be a big question in my mind on a large spike. And if I used large intervals, I would also break it down to 1-min intervals so that I could see more detail. I would also check the news.

The other thing I've done when I see unusual data is to ask another person on these boards who I know uses different software and data source to verify what I see.

As far as I am concerned, those spikes do not exist. You either have bad software, bad data source, or both.

My charts are on Pacific Time.
