Mr. Bear. Going over the heads of the normal channel of union personal to the top isn’t the way to settle your union grievance. I’ve been contacted by Brad, the president and shop steward for Shell local 247 at the compound.

His records indicate you haven’t paid your dues in 6 months and a no show at the last 2 meetings. Which doesn’t seem to jibe with your facts.
Brad has ‘asked’ me to ‘visit’ you and ‘discuss’ your grievance.

Not only do I not understand why I have to do these ‘appointments’, I detest these assignments and the insurance paperwork and court depositions that needs to be done afterwards, plus the cleaning bills.

I suggest contacting Brad instead of trying to leap frog the personal. Ms. Shell is far too busy to be concerned about union issues. And you’ll save me the trip.
