My take on this is that every spike indicates a potential beginning to the RM. We all know news is leaked ahead of any deal, so people snapping up shares at this level will not be a surprise just before it is about to be announced. The only question will be - what would be a good exit price? It is always the hardest one to answer. IMHO.
