well there is a much bigger difference between an asset purchase and a stock purchase than what you stated. Thank you for the input. However, re-reading the 8k and looking closer at the wording it certainly can be an equity based purchase which, in my opinion, would be the preference since they acquirer could assume the debt on their books. It ends up, that in the oil and gas industry, they do not differentiate between an asset and stock based purchase.
Bottom line, anything can happen here, but my gut tells me .85 a share and people have already come forward with interest per LVM.
The main wild card is LVM. Why did they sell prior to this filing? And, who bought up their position. They either knew and bailed or didn't and are now crapping their pants.
