I Googled augmented reality this weekend and read some articles. The 150 billion billion dollar industry is more weighted towards augmented reality than VR. About 75% to 25%. They talked about augmented reality in every windshield of every car stealing a page from Google Glass. Getting rid of the rear view mirror and the dashboard and having an AR windshield is one of the next big things they working on in the automotive industry. Not only would your car be more efficient , but as you drove it would tell you about the area in which you're driving into. Sights, bars, restaurants, historical landmarks weather everything.. your windshield would be a smartphone on steroids. That was just one of the many things how to implement AR into everyday life.
