I remember how after coming out of BK we would make a nice run and then we would get an upgrade from analysts only to see it go DOWN on an upgrade. That happened SEVERAL times. I found that very weird in a sarcastic way. LOL
I'm still holding. I waited for $60 which never came. So close...but I know this is worth more than what the market is pricing it at right now with a P/E of 3.3, EPS of $10.50, Market cap of $18.8 and lowered share count from 710M to 529M. $35.50 is a joke.
How can the largest airline, with the newest most fuel efficient fleet, having all their labor contracts in place, making record profits virtually every quarter while successfully having completed integration, having saved BILLIONS with their no hedge against fuel policy (for which they were severely criticized for and proved ALL those critics wrong) etc. etc, be the lowest share price and market cap of the big 4???
LUV, DAL, UAL , with more shares outstanding, older planes, labor issues, revolving CEO's, board member infighting, reservation systems, passenger stranding meltdowns while paying more for jet fuel because of hedging strategies that cost them tons in losses (which they just recently dropped, with the exception of LUV, because AAL strategy was proven right). All of them have a higher PPS because....PRASM? Really?
Just sayin...
