I think it's just a lot of sour grapes from both analysts and bloggers alike who missed the boat on this one.

I remember clearly the year of the bankruptcy. There was what seemed like an endless on-slot of blogs and analysts saying to avoid American. It was all doom and gloom. And that was when it was $10-$20 a share. My guess is they all sat out on this and watched it go to 50, and are pissed about it.

Even though we give up some ground, we're still sitting in the high 30s and that's a lot better than three dollars I bought this sucker for.
