Vin, I of course agree with you. That is why I posted earlier that the BEST interpretation is what you just said.

But I am far from sure the PR can be read as implying this.

My read is that the biomarker popped out in a multivariate cox. And this on its own means nothing. At best it could be worthy of exploratory research/trials.
