The last two evenings when I shut down my laptop, I was given the 'update and shut down' option, which I selected. When I powered up this morning (HP Laptop/Win10), my machine went immediately into a one hour+ update. It then came up with a "Welcome to the Anniversary Edition of Win 10".

Not sure what all this did, but it undid some of the personalization's of my setup and turned Cortana on in Edge.

Time will tell what else it screwed up. Big brother has taken control.
