look, if the CEO of a public traded company makes an announcement with a date attached, this is always a commitment and therefore a kind of promise.

investors are making decisions on those comments, they are taking money from the table or putting new money in. so this is no kid's talk and all the talk about 'but he didn't promise' is just kid's talk as well.

are we invested in a REAL company or are we still in kindergarden???
