It was not a compensated article. Advertorials are clearly marked as sponsored.
I spoke to the company out of my interest in options for process validation related to 3-D printing and additive manufacturing, given the recent FDA draft guidance. From time to time, we feature device and device-related companies, as well as new products. This combined the two, giving a profile-type piece a relevant news angle.
