While this news is encouraging, it is not a sure thing (I wish it was!)

There's still this thing about Alphabet/Google being a multibillion dollar monster, with paid for politicians and legal professionals on their leash.

The right business decison for Google is to settle this, particularly in light of the fight they are in with Oracle (I believe there's some dirty little secrets here that could be used by Oracle against Google.) Unfortunately, many business decisions are tainted by oversized egos obsessed with power.

We all want to see this settle, and quickly...but wise minds must prevail. As such, it truly isn't a done deal, until it is! We can hope and speculate all we want, but that fat lady needs to start singing.
