For the week ending September 15, 2016 and shipments through September 8, 2016

SEPTEMBER 15 — There were 11,900 new net sales reported for the week versus 20,100 bales in sales the previous week. Currently registered export sales for the 2016/17 crop year total 281,900 bales.

This level of sales is 318.5% of the sales level at the same time last year when 88,500 bales in sales had already been registered. Current shipments stand at 136.6% of last year with 65,300 bales shipped versus 47,800 bales shipped at the same time last year.
