I'm thinking you misunderstood what I meant by 2-step authentication with the phone. That's where you sign in normally into a site/app/or whatever, and then the site will ask you to type in a code that they send via text to your phone. However, you're right. If you do a lot of stuff on your phone, you should use a 2-step authentication with that as well.
