Especially off a message board! It's great to discuss, analyze, rumor, research, & learn from others. But, ultimately, it's your own decision to buy or sell a stock or option position.

For the good, I've especially enjoyed picking up the names of CEO scammers down here in penny land. Lots of bad boy CEOs! Also, names of toxic lenders to watch out for. If you research and can't find a name of a "newly formed corporation", watch out! Scam time, IMO.

There's always corporate news that comes out.

But I don't trust the phones calls--especially when it comes to people saying they talked to so-and-so. Do you think a CEO of a company is going to tell Joe Caller anything substantive? Oh yea. "Our corporate profits are going to be up 500% next quarter..." That's illegal.
