In a somewhat related trivia question, I wonder how floor traders got word of breaking news back in....say. 1920.

lol. no tweets. no social media. no 24-7 "news" networks. just radio or telegraph cables?

imagine if you worked for Western Union and had access to breaking news from a telegraph about a company before anyone else.......for up to an hour.
