Without that DIGITAL, RANDOM-ACCESS, mechanism, such sheets are merely extremely COSTLY alternatives to cheap light bulbs and traditional rear-screen displays.
Couldn't agree more! I am fairly conversant in signage, digital media, and advertising, thus did quite a number of early posts, hoping to debunct Schramm's LightSheets nonsense! The coup de grace came when viewing the YouTube video showing the LightSheets graphic production process! It is basically screenprinting on a sheet of clear material that requires an electrical cord! Sounds like a screenprinted backlit sign, which doesn't include the electrical cord and would be magnitudes less expensive than James Schramm's boondoggle!
