DryShips(DRYS),Diana Shipping(DSX) Have Something to Worry-pure comedy
DRYS, and DSX are dry bulk shippers, and DDCC is not a shipping company. They are not competitors in anything. Bee it base metals, coal, or minerals, comparing shipment of 80,000 dry wt tons, and equating some imaginary DDCC cute little container holding 1 ton(?) at most is totally off the wall.
Also note DRYS, and DSX have various size ships to ship dry bulk commodities around the world. DDCC has a patent no one wants to license for a small intermodal container. And even if DDCC could license the patent to someone for a 1% royalty (e.g. a $10K manufactured container would yield $100 in royalties), comparing it as competition to a dry bulk shipper is hilarious. One can just envision the scale of economy in shipping 80,000 Translock containers stacked 300 ft high on an ocean going ship, vs a Capesize bulk freighter.
