Robert Jecmen 52 Retired Intel Corp(Vice President of the Intel Architecture Group, General Manager of the Mobile Products Group)

He was on EDIGs board in 2001 and it was supposed to mean big things of course it ended up meaning nothing. My theory of what happened back then is EDIGs flash patents were for a specific type of flash memory, NOR, that required a lot of RAM at time when RAM was really expensive. This made EDIG legitimately attractive. Then along came a better type of flash memory, NAND, that required less RAM and RAM got a lot cheaper. All this equaled EDIG no longer being needed and so it tanked.

Since then they have basically been faking it by slapping their brand name on products other companies made or relying on ideas from baggage handlers like the IFE or suing for settlements that amount to a fraction of the legal costs companies they are suing would have to spend unless they settled.

What to make of the water thingee- 5 minutes of goggling will make you realize the use of remote water monitoring over the internet is not at all a new concept and in fact there are at least 7 major players with products today. Maybe somebody should send their names to their buddy Fred! I am pretty sure the water thingee will serve its purpose of stringing share holders along like the dozens of other carrots. Somebody used to post a list of all EDIGs twists and turns over the many years.
