AS my name suggests, I am a new investor, and it is due to my nephew with DMD that I started investing, so besides personal interest, I am now finding I am trying to understand the investing side of things -

Can someone please explain how we can tell how many stocks are shorted and when they have to cover by? And how we know how much that affect the stock price rising - sorry to ask - just trying to understand ...so much out there and hope someone will point me in a good direction for research!
