Where does it go? Ground water, rivers and streams, air?

Big chicken farms in Arkansas used to use arsenic in the chicken feed and they would poop much of it out. The result is rice grown in Arkansas and downstream Louisiana had much higher levels of arsenic in it than California. There is no doubt that it comes from drainage from the chicken farms.

I will say something in defense of GMO's. I have done a bit of driving in rural Minnesota this summer through massive corn and soy fields, mostly corn. I even saw a helicopter spraying. If Roundup is all that bad, farmers and their families would have to have much worse health problems that the rest of us. but I don't see any studies to back that thought up.

But on the other side, alcohol, like Roundup is a poison. It takes at least 20 yeas of heavy use to develop liver problems. My sister's husband died of liver cancer, at age 64, almost 50 years of heavy drinking. Roundup has only been in large use the last 15 years or so, even though it has been around longer. In 2013 new and stronger products came out to combat super weeds gaining resistance to Roundup, scary stuff to me. Dew, you must worry a bit because you shop at WFM?
