I have a feeling that when no rate hike is announced, market may initially spike, but fall back.
I think the FED will have to sound very hawkish on a December hike.
If they sound too dovish, it will be another confirmation of zero FED credibility, AND reveiling that the FED is scared chitless about this super-crummy global economy. (they must see something coming that the rest of us don't see)
the market is all about looking forward, and September
"kick-the can" non-hike is already baked in mostly.
market probably gonna tread water till December? maybe.
but I'm usually wrong, so.......
