One of the couple of most important tools I use is a reference to institutional ownership on the theory that the worst institution has access to better info and analysis than the best retail investor. By that standard, NYMX, with a market cap of about $167M, has less than 2% institutional ownership (CNBC), which is unsatisfactory to me. Maybe you got into it at the right time and are sitting on 100% gains, then good for you, but if it went down at all substantially, from this point, I'd take profits. SPHS also has a very low institutional %, which is why I'm waiting for the share price to decline further before making any sort of major commitment.
