Pokemon Go Plus, the watch-like device for Nintendo Co., Ltd (ADR) (OTCMKTS:NTDOY) and Niantic’s mobile game, has sold out in Japan.

Pokemon Go Plus has been released in Japan and it sold out early Friday morning. This includes online stores and physical retail locations that were carrying the device. It’s unknown when new shipments will be available in the country.

Pokemon Go players in the United States and the United Kingdom are also now able to buy Pokemon Go Plus. It was released today and it lets players catch Pokemon and collect items from PokeStops without having to pull out their smartphones, reports TheStreet.com.

Pokemon Go Plus works with the mobile game by alerting players when a Pokemon is nearby. It does this with vibrations and a blinking light. If the Pokemon is one that the player has caught before, they can press the button on the device to attempt to catch it.

Pokemon Go Plus will use a different set of vibrations and blink to alert players when they are within range of a PokeStop. Pressing the button at this time will net the players items, such as eggs, Pokeballs and more.

Pokemon Go Plus was originally supposed to come out in July. This would have put its release closer to the launch of the mobile game. However, manufactures had to delay it to September. The device costs $34.99 and can be found online at several retailers, such as GameStop Corp. (NYSE:GME).
