Hi Jon and Welcome, Re: Reducing exposure in one holding............

Your rebalance strategy is fine. I'd reduce the Portfolio Control of the SVXY position by what you sold and then just continue on. You might have to reduce your minimum order sizes appropriately, too.

That should keep your Hold Zone approximately where it was before you reduced the position size.
