I agree the PPS is irrelevant but for a different reason. By the time they announce a deal you will not be able to get in at all. Unless some suckers sell for an immediate gain rather than the whole thing probably in cash or a more liquid stock.

As far as management, not sure what more you want from them. I feel the reason this PR did not resonate more is the past history of this company's PRs so if an alien pops in and looks at the history they would be very wary of any pRs. This management is just being thoughtful. When they do a deal you will know what do you need to know before then? That they are shopping it? Well based on this PR you know they are and you know they created a partnership with a skillful dealmaker that put some real skin in the game apparently.
