Greenfield Farms Food Announces Plans for Vertical Expansion Within the Restaurant Industry
WEST PALM BEACH, FL / ACCESSWIRE / July 17, 2015 / Greenfield Farms Food, Inc. (Greenfield or the Company) (PINKSHEETS: GRAS) announced today that it has formed a wholly-owned subsidiary, Restaurant Management Ventures (RMS), to be headed by Ron Heineman, the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. The primary focus will be the identification of businesses that are complementary to the core Carmelas Pizzeria operations and its planned future franchisees and will consider all vertices related to the restaurant industry.

In addition, the new entity will be seeking other core food businesses that could cash flow and grow on a stand-alone basis apart from Carmelas Pizzeria.
"We are excited about the formation of this vehicle that will bring the respective talents and experience of our management team to bear," said Ron Heineman, Greenfield President and Chief Executive Officer. "With over 60 years of combined business and restaurant operations experience we believe RMS and its management will be uniquely positioned to build on our current core business."

Greenfield Farms Food ANNOUNCES TEN STORE EXPANSION PLAN FOR CARMELAS PIZZERI
West Palm Beach, FL -- July 9, 2015 -- InvestorsHub NewsWire -- Greenfield Farms Food, Inc. (Greenfield or the Company) (OTC Pink: GRAS) announced today plans to expand its Carmelas Pizzeria company owned units over a 36-month period. Ten additional company owned units are planned within the Dayton, Ohio geographic area, in proximity of its four currently owned restaurants.
This strategy of company owned stores combined with franchising units allows the company to implement a scalable concept, said Ron Heineman, Greenfield President and Chief Executive Officer. The critical mass of these additional units will contribute, in my view, significant economies of scale in terms of savings in overhead, purchasing and general logistics that will impact our bottom line in a positive manner, concluded Mr. Heineman.
The addition of locations concurrent with the development of its previously announced nationwide franchising plans will give further validation to this initiative.
The units planned will all have the identical size, design and menu offerings. They are tailored to be the most efficient and most economical franchisable model. The development of this concept is a result of months of evaluation and research by Carmelas management team supported with over 60 collective years of food/restaurant experience. The planned units will have a 1,500 to 2,000 square feet footprint. Subject to local zoning requirements, each unit will have a drive-thru window with additional menu items consistent with that concept. The inside seating area will be approximately 20-30 tables with alcohol where permitted. The individual units are forecasted to generate $350,000-$400,000 of revenue, a gross margin percentage of 25% and start-up costs of approximately $80,000 to $150,000, based on location.
Currently the company has identified two possible site selections that could result in store openings. The shareholders will be updated on this project as developments occur.

Greenfield Farms Food, Inc. ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF FILINGS TO ACHIEVE FULL REGULATORY COMPLIANCE AND SIGINING OF KEY AGREEMENT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF CARMELAS PIZZERIA NATIONAL FRANCHISING PROGRA
West Palm Beach, FL -- July 1, 2015 -- InvestorsHub NewsWire -- Greenfield Farms Food, Inc. (Greenfield or the Company) (OTC Pink: GRAS) announced today that it has filed its 2014 SEC Form 10-K and 2015 first quarter Form 10-Q making the Company current in all of its SEC filing obligations. The second quarter SEC Form 10-Q is due on August 14, 2015.
The Company also announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Carmelas Pizzeria (Carmelas), has signed a franchise consulting agreement with SoFran, LLC (SoFran) to develop the formation and roll-out of a nationwide franchising program. SoFran will be developing a detailed master franchise agreement including all legal and compliance documentation and will also evaluate each of the four existing Carmelas Pizzeria locations in Ohio to determine the best nationwide model. In 2014, the Company announced its plan to move forward with a franchising program, but delayed these plans as it worked to open, in spring 2015, its newest location featuring its first ever drive-thru window. The Company chose to defer its franchising plans until this location had opened to include the drive-thru concept.
SoFran has an extensive track record in building brands and networks of franchises across the United States. Wayne Mills, President of SoFran commented: Carmelas Pizzeria has built a great concept that has the potential to be a recognizable brand throughout the Country. We look forward to working with Carmelas to launch a successful franchise program.
We plan to bring the best possible skills to this undertaking, continued Mr. Mills. We are presently in discussions with an individual to spearhead the project that has recently developed a 3,000 unit national franchising roll-out for a health and fitness chain.
The Company will provide further updates as events occur
