At one time our govt. thought giving over half a billion dollars to Solyndra was a great investment too. Turned out to be an epic debacle.
I don't know what those buyers are expecting to happen here, maybe they need some losses to report on their taxes.
If the company had been owned by someone reputable with a history of building successful companies from shells, then I could understand their reasoning.
But this is quite the opposite, and therefore preposterous and irrational.
