The story behind this picture:
A few months after 9/11 I was in a bar in New York. I met a guy who said his brother was a firefighter and part time photographer.
The guy asked me if I'd still be there, if he were to leave and come back in an hour. I said: "yes".
He left and came back 40 minutes later, with this and another 9X18 picture, that his brother had taken, the night of September 11th and the morning after(this picture).
