Interesting you should say that. My pop in law set up a living trust years ago. From what I gather, you then transfer your assets to it. Then when you die the purchase price of all stocks are the price the day you croak. That helps with capital gains. Your wife probably knows all about this. If what I said is wrong let me know so I can quiz pop.
