On the new property, .776 au M&I average and .718 au inferred is pretty pathetic and in a cyclical market will likely spell disaster if the project is developed with those grades. Even if feasible at the time of development, the likelihood of it remaining feasible long term is bleak.
There are lots of waste of time and money properties out there and lets hope this is not one of them. Like I have stated before, maybe they know something positive that we dont. To me this looks just like a property poor management would acquire when the markets are at their top only to lose when the market drops. If and when they make a good acquisition with prospects of production in the short term, I will be back on board.
