Hanjin Shipping Seized; Freight Rates Surge


Freight rates surge as more Hanjin ships seized, Retuers reports Additional Hanjin Shipping vessels have been seized at Chinese ports and industry freight rates have jumped in response to the South Korean firm's collapse, reported Reuters.

TOPS Ships (TOPS), a micro cap provider of oil, petroleum products and chemicals transportation services, is trading up 11% in early trading. Other marine shipping stocks include Seaspan (SSW), Nordic American Tankers (NAT) and Navios Maritime Partners (NMM).
