Exactly. If you noticed, some of the people who commented rightly said that cats can understand us as well as dogs, but only pay attention when they feel like it.

A few said some animals seem to be telepathic, and in a sense that's true as well. They certainly know when you're planning to take them to the vet, even if you haven't said anything about it.
