We've seen these types of things occur with OTC stocks over the years. For example , One particular otc pile of garbage will make some " claim" such as citing some legal precedent, an SEC litigation, a court case filing, perhaps a Finra announcement regarding some loophole in the system, something , anything these schlock outfits can hijack to use as an excuse for their own poor performing stock price - which in reality is due to their own wrongdoing.
Once one company makes such a claim - the bandwagon effect takes place and the rest of these scams follow suit in an attempt to somehow legitimize the initial assertion.
Its really quite a spectacle to behold.
It would be hilarious if not for the fact that some of these claims actually gain traction.
The excessive use of "SHORTY" is but one pathetic example of how these ridiculous, and FALSE excuses are packaged and marketed.
